Chateau: Guided tour of the Condé Museum

Inside the chateau, where the Condé museum is located, you can explore:

Great Stables: Visit of the Museum of the Horse

Come and discover the Horse Museum, housed in the heart of the great stables, an architectural masterpiece of the 18th century, which presents more than 200 objects and works of art related to the horse and its history.

Both an art museum and an ethnological museum, the Musée du Cheval is intended for a wide public. Its resolutely contemporary museography, with a large number of interactive and audiovisual tools, offers an approach that is both educational and entertaining.

Park

Stroll through the park, which offers a breathtaking view of the art of the Western Garden.

You will discover in particular:

– The French-style garden designed by André Le Nôtre, composed of water mirrors reflecting the sky. Of all the creations of the famous gardener, Chantilly was his favorite garden.

– The Anglo-Chinese garden, a bucolic place par excellence that shelters the Hameau, composed of five rustic-style cottages, which was used as a model for Marie-Antoinette’s garden at the Petit Trianon in Versailles.

– The English garden, ideal for romantic walks with the Isle of Love and the Temple of Venus.

Attend equestrian shows that combine poetry, humour, music and high school training. Each year 3 equestrian shows are presented under the majestic dome of the Grandes Écuries.

– Discovery visit of the gardens

Discover the gardens in a fun and entertaining way with our visit booklets.

– “Le Hameau des enfants”, the ideal playground (from 3 to 12 years old)

Children can have fun in the Hamlet, which consists of small houses, spring-fed farm animals or a play structure on which they can climb, jump, climb…

– The Vegetable Labyrinth

Venture into the labyrinth and its 5 glades that will take you back to the main entertainments of the 18th century: spring-loaded little horses, giant chess game, goose game.

– Stroll in the park by mini-train (from April to October):

The best way to visit the 115-hectare park! For 40 minutes you will walk through the gardens and their treasures.
– Discovery of the park by carts (from April to October):

For 4 or 6 people, golf carts allow you to visit the 115-hectare park effortlessly and freely.

Kangaroo enclosure

Meeting with kangaroos

Discover the kangaroo enclosure located in the woods of the small park. Young and old alike will be able to visit “Ice”, our albino kangaroo, a rare phenomenon within this species of Bennett’s Wallaby.

The French garden designed by André Le Nôtre

The large French-style flowerbed of Chantilly offers the most dazzling views of the visit. It includes large water mirrors reflecting the sky, numerous water jets and fountains as well as a set of high quality statues.
Of all the creations of the famous gardener, Chantilly was his favorite garden.

The Anglo-Chinese garden

A bucolic place par excellence, the Anglo-Chinese garden that houses the Hameau, composed of five rustic-style cottages, served as a model for Marie-Antoinette’s garden at the Petit Trianon in Versailles.

The English garden

Ideal for romantic walks with the Isle of Love and the Temple of Venus.
Inhabited by swans and water birds that nest on its many islands, the English garden also contains a large water buffet designed by André Le Nôtre: the Cascades de Beauvais.
