The Great Stables celebrate their 300 year anniversary!
Sophie Bienaimé and the riders of the Equestrian Compagny have decided to celebrate this birthday through an exceptional equestrian show that will tell you their story.
Come and discover the Great Stables’s history every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday at 2:30pm, from July 20th until August 22nd.
The Great stables are not an ordinary building : they are exceptional as they were built away from the castle and not close to it as it is custom.
Created by architect Jean Aubert, they were ordered by Louis Henri de Bourbon, which was 7th Prince of Condé and Louis XIV’s grandson... One having created Versailles, it’s no wonder that the other had the idea of such magnificent stables!
For about one hour and though several acts, relive the history of the Great Stables, step by step. Horses, donkeys and ponies will bring 300 years of history back to life and show their know-how: Haute École, liberty work, prancing, bowing... The riders of the Equestrian Compagny and the acrobat Clement Ferron will take you on a journey that will help you know and understand the Great Stables.
